Iggymob has released new information and screenshots of Gungrave G.O.R.E introducing Scumland, one of the key locations that appears in the upcoming PlayStation 4 title.

Scumland…
In the coastal waters of Southeast Asia, an island suddenly appeared near the South China Sea.
The first to land on that island was “The Man.” The Man had set foot on this mysterious island…
Without hesitation, the residents of neighboring countries began flocking to the island like a swarm. People selfishly claimed territory, and slums surfaced one after the other.
The island was changing by the hour. Tall buildings that were not there the day before had suddenly been erected.
The slums’ residents had disappeared into the buildings as if absorbed, and by the time anyone could realize, countless Orgmen had come to the island.
Indeed, those buildings were facilities that produced the drug known as “SEED.”
Many criminals began to swarm onto this island surrounded by a giant wall.
In order to procure SEED…
Among the many mafia organizations, the “Raven Clan” chosen by The Man had taken over Scumland.
Using the mafia organizations, mercenaries, and SEED-addicted Orgmen loyal to them, the Raven Clan took total control of the island.
The slums and entertainment district controlled by the Raven Clan, the center of the island lined with skyscrapers, and the underground core facility where the secret of Scumland is hidden.
In various places such as these, Grave will fight the Raven Clan and its members.
Iggymob creative director Robert Horvat said:
“Scumland is an island where the drug SEED has run rampant, and the international crime organization known as the Raven Clan has taken control. Everything that moves in Scumland is a threat to the player. It can be a life-form, or even a machine. To survive on this island, you must trust no one and destroy everything.”
In Gungrave G.O.R.E., Grave will visit Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Scumland with the goal of exterminating Raven Clan. Scumland is one of the stages that appears in Gungrave G.O.R.E. and is a key story point.
Gungrave G.O.R.E is due out for PlayStation 4 in December.
