Microsoft has revealed the next batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass over the next few weeks. Following the arrival of NBA 2K22, Game Pass subscribers have six more titles to look forward to between now and May 12, 2022. From dungeon crawlers to action RPGs to an EA Sports title, here’s what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass soon.
Starting today, you can pay Loot River on cloud, console and PC. This ID@Xbox title sees players explore procedurally generated labyrinths, combining dungeon crawling action with roguelike elements, resulting in tense, real-time combat. Armed with the power of the Relic, players can shift the ground beneath them, sliding the floating relics to solve puzzles and approach combat in a unique way.
On May 5th, Xbox Game Pass will add Trek to Yomi and Citizen Sleeper. Trek to Yomi is a cinematic action adventure game inspired by classic samurai film. Trek to Yomi follows the enthralling story of a lone samurai, Hiroki, as he voyages beyond life and death as he tries to make good on a failed promise to save the people he swore to protect. Citizen Sleeper is a narrative-driven sci-fi RPG with mechanics inspired by the flexibility and freedom of tabletop RPGs.
On May 10th, three more games will come to Xbox Game Pass: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, a visual novel adventure; Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, an action JRPG; and This War of Mine: Final Cut, a remaster of a war survival set in World War I.
As I mentioned, NBA 2K22 is currently available on Xbox Game Pass. On May 12, it will be joined by EA’s NHL 22. NHL 22 will be free on console via EA Play, meaning you’ll need to be a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber for this one.
